FITNESS PROGRAM

The next Great Kibworth Run is Sunday 29th September 2013

The Great Kibworth Run is a bi-annual community and charity event for Kibworth and the surrounding area. It provides an activity that can involve members of the local communities, of all ages, by competing in the individual races within the event and to raise money for charities.

Whilst the emphasis is on a community event, club and non-local runners are very welcome to enter the event.

The first Great Kibworth Run in 2001 set the standards when 500 competitors competed in either the Half Marathon or the Family Fun Run watched by an enthusiastic crowd at the start/finish and around the route.

The run has now expanded to include a Half Marathon, Third Marathon, Power Walk and a 2 Mile Fun Run.

Main Charity

Our selected charity this year is Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland, however, you are more than welcome to raise money for your own charity or local school initiative.

For those who have entered, race numbers will be posted out closer to the main event itself.
