Thank you all for the superb event you put on yesterday. The whole Green family had a wonderful time, and so it seemed did everyone else. I hope all the numbers work out well as it’s a brilliant community occasion.

The Great Kibworth Run is a bi-annual community and charity event for the area. It provides an activity that can involve members of the local communities, of all ages, by competing in the individual races within the event and to raise money for charities. Whilst the emphasis is on a community event, club and non-local runners are very welcome to enter the event.

The first Great Kibworth Run in 2001 set the standards when 500 competitors competed in either the ½ Marathon or the Family Fun Run watched by an enthusiastic crowd at the start/finish and around the route.

The Great Kibworth Run is a charity event and we ask all entrants to do their best to raise sponsorship for our charities;

Macmillan Cancer Support & Air Ambulance

Grants of up to £500.00 with the aim of supporting groups and organisations with an emphasis on youth and children’s groups connected to sport activities in the Kibworth area.

For those who have already entered race numbers will be posted out later this week
